Alejandro Werner writes from the boundary between psychological darkness and spiritual transformation.

“The story began with a life that broke apart. It became a novel about the forces that put it back together.”
Based on true events. Dramatized through literary fiction.
A dark literary and psychological novel about what happens when the boundary between inner crisis and spiritual reality disappears.
Rooted in lived experience, the novel follows a man through immigration, trauma, addiction, faith, and radical transformation. What began as autobiography became fiction so the unseen could enter the visible world.
Where psychological suffering and spiritual experience meet—and where certainty begins to fracture.
The immigrant search for belonging, the inheritance of family trauma, and the selves we build to survive.
A confrontation with temptation, responsibility, faith, and the forces—visible and unseen—that shape a life.
The possibility that our deepest collapse can become the beginning of an entirely different life.

Alejandro Werner is a Peruvian-born, American-raised author, Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and entrepreneur.
Born in Lima, he moved to Miami at nine. His parents arrived with $150. He started working at an early age. Before finding his calling, he worked multiple jobs while experiencing depression, addiction, near-death, and repeated loss.
His search for meaning led through psychology, philosophy, the world’s religious traditions, and a life-changing encounter with the Holy Spirit. He earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Florida International University and a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from St. Thomas University.
Today, Alejandro lives in North Carolina with his wife, Carmen, and their two children. He founded an ABA practice devoted to expressing unconditional love through the science of behavior analysis.
“I want people to love themselves, understand the deep power they have, and remain aware of the fragility of life.”
Future essays on faith, psychology, immigration, meaning, responsibility, and transformation.
On suffering, identity, and the stories we tell about survival.
What we carry across borders—and what follows us into the next life.
The difficult freedom of recognizing that transformation is still possible.
